Belief becomes visible through what we build.
 

Some ideas refuse to leave us alone.
 

They return in our prayers, our conversations, and our imagination. We carry them for a while, sometimes without knowing exactly what to do with them. But eventually, some ideas ask something of us.
 

Looking back, much of the work I've given my life to began that way.
 

Leading Influence. Writing books. Community leadership. Coaching. Speaking.
 

None of them began with a carefully developed strategic plan. They began with something I couldn't quite ignore—a need I noticed, a possibility I could see, a conversation that needed to happen, or an opportunity to make something better.
 

Eventually, reflection had to become action.
 

What you'll find here are some of the places where that has happened in my life—where conviction became practice and an idea became something tangible.
 

I don't think of these simply as accomplishments. They're examples of what can happen when we pay attention to what has been placed in front of us and have the courage to act on it.
 

Perhaps you recognize that experience.
 

An idea that keeps returning. A problem you can't stop thinking about. A conversation you believe someone needs to begin. An opportunity that seems to be asking something of you.
 

Not every idea needs to become something.
 

But some do.
 

And sometimes the only way to discover what an idea might become is to begin building it.
 

Because belief becomes visible through what we build.
