Leadership has never been confined to one place for me.

I didn't set out to build a career. I simply kept saying yes to opportunities to serve. Looking back, I can see a thread running through experiences that, at the time, seemed very different from one another.
 

Pastoral ministry taught me that leadership begins with people. Serving as President of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce showed me what becomes possible when communities work together around a shared purpose. Those worlds came together in Leading Influence, where I found myself serving elected leaders with encouragement, prayer, and pastoral care while working toward a healthier public life.
 

Years later, The Big Spend gave me another opportunity to put some of those convictions into practice. It reinforced my belief that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things when they're united by hope, shared purpose, and the conviction that what they do matters.

 

Coaching is another way I help people build what matters. Sometimes that means helping someone discover where their purpose, strengths and experience come together. Sometimes it means turning an idea into a meaningful first step. And sometimes it means helping an experienced leader think about legacy, transition and what comes next.
 

I don’t bring a formula or prescribe the answer. I listen, ask questions, challenge assumptions and draw on decades of leadership experience to help people find clarity, move from possibility to action, and build something that can last.

Along the way, writing, speaking, and coaching have become other expressions of the same calling—helping people build lives of significance, strengthen communities, and shape a better future.
 

What once felt like very different opportunities now looks much more like one coherent story.
 

The story isn't finished. New doors continue to open. New conversations continue to begin. New opportunities continue to take shape.
 

My plan is simple: to keep saying yes wherever God opens the next door—to keep investing in people, strengthening communities, and helping shape a better future.
 

Because the future isn't something we simply inherit. It's something we build—together.
